It is a common step when a company wants to rebrand, expand its business, or simply adopt a new identity.<\/p>\n<h3>What is required to change the company name?<\/h3>\n<p>To change the company name with the APR, you should prepare the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Decision on changing the name<\/strong> \u2013 adopted by the company\u2019s governing body (for example, the shareholders\u2019 assembly), containing the proposed new name.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Proof of fee payment<\/strong> \u2013 a registration fee is payable for recording the change.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Registration application for changing the business name<\/strong> (Mandatory data + Annex 01).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The forms \u201cMandatory data + Annex 01\u201d can be downloaded free of charge from the APR website.<\/p>\n<h3>Procedure for changing the company name<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Prepare the required documents, including the decision on the name change and the amended articles\/statute if applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Pay the prescribed fees.<\/li>\n<li>Submit the application with the full supporting documentation to the competent register.<\/li>\n<li>After successful registration, obtain the official APR decision confirming the change.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Important notes<\/h3>\n<p>The new company name must be unique and must not be confusingly similar to the name of another registered company.
